Silestone is produced in two different thicknesses of slabs for Silestone countertops: 3/4″ (2cm), and 1-1/4″ (3cm). It is possible to go for a 3/4″ + 3/4″ (2cm + 2cm) edge, thereby giving the impression of 1-1/2″ (4cm) thick stone (a narrow piece of 3/4″ -2cm- is laminated on to the underside of the 3/4″ -2cm- slab along the edge).
