What are Vadara Quartz Surfaces?
Vadara is a natural, quartz surfacing product that can be used on interiors for countertops, vanities, wet bars, showers, etc. Like Silestone, Vadara is natural quartz, one of the hardest and more common minerals on Earth. Vadara includes other raw materials to improve its durability and design possibilities. Again, like Silestone Quartz, Vadara is resistant to scratching, staining and impact.
Vadara Quartz vs Granite or Marble
Vadara countertops can have the natural look and feel of granite, marble, or other quarried stones, but Vadara has more strength and durability. It is nonporous and will not absorb food and liquids like granite does. Unlike granite, Vadara doesn’t require a sealer. And marble is a softer stone and therefore stains and scratches appear more easily on the surface.
Seamless Vadara Quartz Countertops
Like most other slabs, Vadara is a natural stone product that does require seams for any application longer than 126″ or wider than 63″. These seams are visible, but generally less noticeable than seams found using granite.
Vadara Quartz Warranty for Countertop Surfaces
Vadara offers a lifetime warranty with specific parameters and limitations. For instance Vadara installed outdoors is not covered by the warranty.
Residential Installations
Vadara Quartz Surfaces will warrant from the original date of installation Vadara material that fails due to a manufacturing defect when fabricated and installed by a Vadara Authorized Fabricator/Installer. This warranty only applies to the repair or replacement of material that has been permanently installed in the purchaser’s residence. The option to repair or replace is at the sole discretion of Vadara Quartz Surfaces.
The Residential warranty is only available to the original owner of a single family residence in which the Vadara material was originally installed. In the case of a newly constructed single family residence, this warranty is only available to the first owner purchasing the residence and is transferable according to the procedure detailed in the complete Residential warranty available for download below.
Commercial Installations
Vadara Quartz Surfaces warrants to the owner of the original installation that Vadara Quartz Surfaces, when fabricated and installed by an authorized Vadara Quartz Surfaces fabricator, shall be free of manufacturing/material defects. This warranty applies to the repair or replacement of defective Vadara Quartz Surfaces material that has been permanently installed and has remained in its original installed location. The option to repair or replace is at the sole discretion of Vadara Quartz Surfaces.
Vadara Quartz Surfaces makes no express or implied warranty including without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or from any other course of dealing or trade usage regarding the product. No warranty is made whatsoever for materials produced or provided by other manufacturers.
